Purpose
Pursuant to an Authorisation from: Cabinet
decision dated 24/07/2024, to delegate authority to the Assistant
Director for Highways and Infrastructure to:
1. conduct a competitive procurement process for the supply of
highway services and construction phase works in relation to B4058
Rushmire Hill Geotechnical Stabilisation Scheme;
2. make such ancillary orders that might be required in order to
successfully implement the Project (such as temporary traffic
regulation orders (TTROs for speed limits etc.)) during the
construction phase of the Project.
Decision
Following the conclusion of a competitive
procurement process in respect of contracts for the supply of
highway services and construction phase works in relation to the
B4058?Rushmire?Hill Geotechnical Stabilisation Scheme (the
“Scheme”) and having consulted with Cllr Dominic
Morris, Cabinet Member for Highways and Flood in accordance with
the Cabinet decision of 24 July 2024:
DECISION
To award a contract for the supply of the
highway services and construction phase works described above to
the preferred tenderer, namely Montel Civil Engineering
[Ltd]].
This contract will be awarded in conjunction
with B4008 Standish Multi-User Path but will be subject to two
purchase orders, one for each site.
