Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from the Deputy
Leader and Cabinet Member
for Finance and Change on 15/11/2023: Procurement of a Security
& Key
Holding Service Framework for Gloucestershire County Council and
partner
premises located within Gloucestershire
It should be noted that since this decision was made the title of
the Cabinet
Member for Finance and Change has changed to Cabinet Member
for
Finance and Property

Following a competitive procurement process in respect of a
4-year
Framework Agreement under which the council, individual
participating schools in Gloucestershire District Councils in
Gloucestershire; Partners and the NHS in Gloucestershire may
award
call-off contracts for the supply of security & keyholding
services; and
having consulted with the Cabinet Member for Finance and
Property
in accordance with the Cabinet Member decision of 15 November
2023:
DECISION
To award the Framework Agreement described above to the sole
preferred tenderer, namely Cotswold Security Group Ltd, under
which
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) may procure and award
call
off contracts for the provision of security & keyholding
services for its
corporate properties. The required call-off contracts shall
continue for
an initial period of 3 years, and each include an option to extend
its
term for a further period of not more than 2 years (ie, 3+2
years).
It is noted that the framework agreement will also enable
individual
participating schools in Gloucestershire and the additional
public
sector partners including schools and district Authorities to
procure
and award their own call off contracts for the provision of
security &
keyholding services in respect of their respective
premises.
