Purpose
Pursuant to an Authorisation from Cabinet on
21st July 2021 in respect of commissioning Short Breaks for
Children and Young People with Disabilities
There have been changes to Cabinet since the above Cabinet decision
was taken on 21 July 2021. As a result, Cllr Paul McLain, Cabinet
Member for Children’s Safeguarding has been consulted in
relation to decision now being taken.
Having consulted with the Cabinet Member Cllr Paul McLain (Cabinet
Member for Children’s Safeguarding) in accordance with the
Cabinet decision 21st July 2021:
DECISION
To exercise the option to extend the current Short Breaks for
disabled children contract for Lot 4 for 12 months (1st October
2024 – 30th September 2025).
To exercise the option to extend the current Short Breaks for
disabled children contract for Lot 7 for 2 years (1st April 2025
– 31st March 2027).
