Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from the Deputy
Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Change on 3 September
2024: Contract relating to the supply of Veritas Netbackup SaaS
Protection for the Enterprise Microsoft 365 suite, Netbackup
Analytics tools and on-premise backup appliance licenses and
maintenance

There have been changes to Cabinet since the above Cabinet Member
decision was taken on 3 September 2024. As a result, Cllr Stephan
Fifield, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Transformation and
Change has been consulted in relation to decision now being
taken.

Following the conclusion of a mini competition process under Lot 3
of the Crown Commercial Services Technology Products and Associated
Services 2 Framework Agreement (RM6098) in respect of a call-off
contract for the supply of Veritas Netbackup SaaS Protection;
Netbackup analytics tools; backup appliances; licenses and
maintenance services; and having consulted with Cllr Stephan
Fifield, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Transformation and
Change in accordance with the Cabinet Member decision of 3
September 2024:

DECISION

To award the call-off contract described above to the preferred
tenderer, namely Insight Direct (UK) Ltd. The call-off contract
will run for a period of 3 years.

Following the conclusion of a mini competition

Netbackup SaaS Protection; Netbackup analytics tools; backup

Transformation and Change in accordance with the Cabinet Member

To award the call-off contract described above
to the preferred tenderer, namely Insight Direct (UK) Ltd. The
call-off contract will run for a period of 3 years.
