Purpose
Having consulted with the Cabinet Member for
Education, Skills and Bus Transport,
Decision
1. To enter into an agreement with
a) Gloucester City Council
b) Cheltenham Borough Council
c) Tewkesbury Borough Council
d) Forest of Dean District Council
e) Stroud District Council
f) Cotswold District Council
under which Gloucestershire County Council shall accept and
administer up to £420k of combined UK Shared Prosperity Fund
Grants received from the above, each making an equal contribution,
for the purpose of delivering the Employment and Skills Hub
Outreach (ESHO) Project, described in the background information
detailed below, between the 1st of April 2024 and the 31st of March
2025.Funding received will be based on actual costs of delivering
the project up to a maximum of £420k.
2. To enter into an agreement with the following organisations to
provide funding of up to £38,000 for each organisation,
received from the above organisations, for the continued delivery
of the Employment and Skills Hub Outreach (ESHO) Project:
a) GL Communities
b) Artshape
c) GRCC (Gloucestershire Rural Community Council)
d) CCP (Caring for Communities and People)
e) Stroud Valleys Project
f) The Churn
g) Young Gloucestershire
