Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation
from Cabinet on 17 June 2020 and subsequent Cabinet Decision 6
October 2020:
 
That Cabinet delegates
authority to the Executive Director Economy, Environment and
Infrastructure in consultation with the Cabinet Member; Environment
and Planning and the Executive Director of Corporate Resources
(Section 151 Officer) to:

1.   
Agree the terms and conditions that arise pursuant
to the Deed of Variation to the Housing Infrastructure Fund Grant
Determination Agreement (“GDA”) between GCC and
Homes England in relation to the M5 J10 Improvements
Scheme.

2.   
Authorise the County Council to execute the Deed of
Variation between GCC and Homes England by affixing the
council’s seal thereto.

3.   
Agree the execution of any supplemental documents or
agreements necessary to facilitate the delivery of the M5J10
scheme.
 
The
Decision:
The Executive Director
Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, in consultation with the
Cabinet Member; Environment and Planning and the Executive Director
of Corporate Resources (Section 151 Officer):
·        
agrees the terms and conditions that arise pursuant to the Deed of
Variation attached as an exempt annex to this report;
·        
authorises GCC to enter into the Deed of Variation;
and
authorises the
Assistant Director of Legal Services to execute the Deed of
Variation between GCC and Homes England by affixing the
council’s seal thereto.

Decision
