Purpose

Following the conclusion of the procurement
process for the Youth Support Service and having consulted with the
Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Early Years in
accordance with Cabinet Decision:

DECISION

1. To exercise the Council’s reserved right not to award to
Lot 1 of the specialist services described in the Youth Support
Service tender.

2. To award Lot 2 (Gloucester and Forest of Dean) of the services
described in the Youth Support Service to Gloucestershire Gateway
Trust.

3. To award Lot 3 (Stroud and Cotswolds) of the services described
in the Youth Support Service to Family Action.

4. To award Lot 4 (Cheltenham and Tewkesbury) of the services
described in the Youth Support Service to The Children’s
Society.

The proposed contracts shall continue for an initial period of 5
years and include an option to extend their terms for a further
period of not more than 2 years.
