Purpose

Following the conclusion of a competitive
procurement
process in respect of a contract for the supply of highway
works in connection with the delivery of the B4063
Gloucester to Cheltenham cycleway scheme between
Estcourt Road Roundabout to Elmbridge Court
Roundabout (the “Scheme”) and having consulted with
the
Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning, in
accordance with the above-mentioned individual cabinet
member decision paper dated 06 April 2021:
DECISION
To award such contract to the preferred tenderer, namely
Wills Bros Construction Ltd.

Decision

Pursuant to an Authorisation from: Cabinet
member decision dated 06 April 2021
under which the Cabinet Member for Environment
and Planning delegated authority
to the Head of Highway Authority (in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for
Environment and Planning) to:
• Conduct competitive procurement
processes for the supply of highway
construction works in relation to the B4063
Gloucester to Cheltenham Cycle
Improvements scheme; and then award a
contract(s) for such works to the
successful tenderer(s).
• Make ancillary orders in order to
successfully implement such scheme
including (without limitation) traffic
regulation orders and temporary traffic
regulation orders (TTRO’s for speed
limits etc.) during the construction phase
of the scheme.
