Purpose

To determine the School Admissions
Arrangements for 2025 -26, including:

The Co-ordinated Admissions Schemes for all
schools and academies

·      
The Admission Arrangements for Community &
Voluntary Controlled Schools

·      
The Protocol for pupil admittance over Published
Admission Number for Community & Voluntary Controlled Schools
and Service Personnel.

 Note:

 Admission authorities are only
required to complete a full public consultation once every seven
years. The last consultation was completed in 2016 for the 2018
admission arrangements.  Therefore, on this occasion, a full
consultation was undertaken. 

We are required to determine the
Admission Scheme, Arrangements and Protocol for 2025/2026. Included
in this consultation is the publication of PAN for Community and
Voluntary Controlled Schools.

Robinson sought Cabinet approval to determine the
School Admissions Arrangements for 2025 - 26, including:
 
The
Co-ordinated Admissions Schemes for all schools and
Academies
 
The
Admission Arrangements for Community & Voluntary Controlled
Schools
 
The
Protocol for pupil admittance over Published Admission Number (PAN)
for Community & Voluntary Controlled Schools and Service
Personnel.
 
 
Having considered all of the
information, Cabinet noted the report and
 
 
RESOLVED to:
 
That Cabinet approves the School Co-ordination and Admission
Arrangements as set out in the documents referred to
below:
