Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from the
Council’s Scheme of Delegation: GEN1 (To enter into any
contract for works and the supply of goods and services).

Record and confirm a decision by the Director of Education on 2
September 2022, following a [description] procurement process, to
award a contract to Dingley’s Promise for the provision of an
Early Years SEN childcare and assessment centre. The contract was
for an initial period of 12 months and included an option to extend
for a further period of up to 12 months.

Having consulted with Cllr Stephen Davis Cabinet Member for
Children’s safeguarding and Early Years [portfolio], to
exercise the option to extend the contract for a period of 8
months, from January 2023 until August 2024.
