Purpose
Following the
conclusion of a mini-competition exercise on the Social Work degree
apprenticeship framework agreement and having consulted with the
Cabinet Member for Finance & Change in accordance with the
Individual Cabinet Member decision dated 7 August 2019 the Interim
Executive Director of Corporate Resources:
Resolved to:
Award a Call-Off Contract for the supply of the level 6 Social
Worker Degree Apprenticeship programme to University of
Gloucestershire for our Adults Services. The proposed Call-Off
Contract shall continue for an initial period of 3 years and
include an option to extend its term for a further period of not
more than 2 years.
Decision
In coming to this decision, the Interim
Executive Director of Corporate Resources has given due and full
regard to the requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty
contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the
Act”) by reference to the law itself.
Having fully considered all available
information, the Interim Executive Director decided to reject any
alternative options and take the recommended decision(s), for the
reasons set out in the published decision report.
