Having considered all of the information,
Cabinet noted the report and

RESOLVED to:

 
Delegate authority to the
Executive Director of Children’s Services in consultation
with the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding
to:

1.              
Conduct a competitive procurement process in respect
of a four-year multi-supplier Framework Agreement commencing
1st April 2027 for the provision of Short Breaks Activities to
disabled children and young people across Gloucestershire. The
Framework will be divided into lots for the delivery of Short
Breaks activities which will be determined based on market
engagement following a Short Breaks needs assessment.
 

2.              
Award such Framework Agreement to the preferred
tenderers described in Recommendation 1.
 

3.              
Procure and award, subject to the financial
restrictions set out in the Resourcing Implications section of this
report below, as many Call-Off Contracts for the provision of Short
Break Activities under the above Framework Agreement as may be
required. In the event that the value of any individual proposed
Call-Off Contract under the Framework Agreement exceeds
£500,000, a separate key decision shall be sought at the
relevant time.
