Purpose

To seek approval to allocate funds from the
Traveller Services’ capital funding allocation to procure
refurbishment works for five residential utility blocks and a
community hub/office at The Willows traveller site.
 

Decision

That the Cabinet Member for Public Health
rejects the alternative options and takes the
recommended decision to:
 
(1)
     Approve the
allocation of up to £550k from the £984k total capital
funding allocation for refurbishment project works at The Willows
site, Sandhurst Lane, Gloucester, GL2 9NB (Tewkesbury
district).
 
(2)
     Delegates authority
to the Assistant Director of Asset Management and Property Services
to appoint Speller Metcalfe Ltd under [Lot 1] of GCC Constructing
Partnering Framework 2024 in accordance with the rotational award
mechanism there under in respect of a call-off contract for the
works associated with the refurbishment project described
above.
