Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from: Cabinet
decision dated 4 December 2024 to: Procure and award a contract for
Traffic Signal Maintenance and Capital Funded Improvements.

Following the conclusion of a mini-competition procurement process
under Lot 6 of Crown Commercial Services RM6099 Transport
Technology & Associated Services framework agreement in respect
of a call-off contract for the supply of traffic signal maintenance
services and works ,and having consulted with the Leader of the
Council, due to the unavailability of the Cabinet Member for
Highways and Flood, in accordance with the Cabinet decision dated 4
December 2024:

DECISION

To award the above call-off contract to the preferred tenderer
namely Telent Technology Services Ltd (Telent) which shall continue
for an initial period of 5 years and include an option to extend
its term for a further period of not more than 2 years.
