the Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Board

Decision

In coming to this decision I have given due
and full regard to the requirements of the public sector equality
duty contained in section 149 of the Equality Act 2010 (“the
Act”) by reference to the law itself. 
 
Having fully considered all the available
information, I have decided to reject the alternative options and
take the recommended decision to: 
 
In accordance with the requirements of the
Health & Social Care Act 2012 (“the Act”) and
Paragraph 3.13 of the Council’s Constitution, the following
elected members to be appointed to the Gloucestershire Health and
Wellbeing Board. The appointment to run concurrently with the term
of office of the current council.  
 

Cllr Dr Kate Usmar: Cabinet Member for Adult Support and
Independence – appointed as Chair of the
Board  

 

Cllr Linda Cohen: Cabinet Member for
Education and Skills  

Cllr Ben Evans: Cabinet Member for
Children’s Safeguarding and Care  

 

Cllr Paul Hodgkinson: Cabinet Member
for Public Health, Communities and Fire
