Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from Cabinet on
20 March 2025: M5 Junction 10
Improvements Scheme – Enabling Works

Having received the Secretary of State approval for the
Development Consent Order (DCO) and GCC having entered into
a Deed of Variation to the Grant Determination Agreement with
Homes England and having consulted with the Cabinet member
for Business, Economic Development, Planning and
Infrastructure (as successor to the Lead Cabinet Member for
Environment, Economy and Planning) in accordance with a
Cabinet decision dated 20th March 2025:
DECISION
To award a contract for the supply of enabling works
associated
with the delivery of the M5 J10 Improvements Scheme to
Galliford Try Construction Limited. The proposed enabling
works
contract 2A.1 shall continue for a period of 10 months and
include
an option to extend its term and scope for a further period of
not
more than 3 months.
