Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and
RESOLVED to:
Delegate authority to the Executive Director for Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, in consultation with Cabinet Member for Sustainable Transport and Road Safety to:
- Conduct a competitive procurement process in respect of a concession contract for:
the supply, installation and maintenance of 229 new and replacement advertising enabled bus shelters and 15 free-standing units (FSUs).
the cleaning and maintenance of 229 advertising enabled bus shelters and 15 FSUs.
The proposed concession contract shall continue for a period of 20 years and include a break option on its 10th
and its 15th anniversary.
- Award the above concession contract to the preferred tenderer.
- Exercise either of the above contract break options at the relevant time provided it is appropriate to do so.
