Purpose
Valuing our foster carers: to seek approval to
amend the current fostering payment scheme and to apply the updated
payment scheme to all carers, including kinship carers.
Decision
That the Cabinet Member for Children’s
Safeguarding and Care rejects the alternative options and takes the
recommended decision to:
1. Approve the adoption of the Fostering
Payment Scheme 2025 Review
2. Delegate authority to the Executive
Director of Children’s Services in consultation with the
Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding & Care, to
implement the Fostering Payment Scheme 2025.
