Purpose

To seek approval to undertake a procurement
process for the appointment of a contractor to deliver an extension
to the Gloucestershire’s E-Scooter Trial

Decision

1. To exercise the option to
extend the Gloucestershire E-scooter
Trial contract for a maximum of
12 months commencing on July
1st 2025 until 30th
June 2026 under Gloucestershire County
Council’s (GCC’s) contract with Voi
Ltd.  
 
The contract relates to the provision of services and
equipment in connection with the Department for
Transport’s (DfT) UK E-scooter trial and
approved license for Gloucestershire.   
 
2. To modify the above contract
by widening the geographical
operating Gloucestershire area as well as
introducing a new parking management approach across
Gloucester and Cheltenham linked with
the extended duration of the UK
DfT trial.
