Purpose

To seek Cabinet approval to procure three new
framework agreements under which Gloucestershire County Council
(GCC) may call-off statutory servicing works; minor responsive and
reactive works; and medium size project work respectively.

Decision

Cllr Colin Hay sought Cabinet
approval to procure three new framework agreements under which
Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) may call-off statutory
servicing works; minor responsive and reactive works; and medium
size project work respectively.
 
 
Having considered all of the information,
Cabinet noted the report and
 
RESOLVED to:
 
Delegate authority to the
Assistant Director - Asset Management and Property Services (AMPS),
in consultation with the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for
Finance, Assets and Transformation to:

1.             
Conduct a competitive procurement process in respect
of the following new four-year multi-supplier framework
agreements:
 
(a) A framework agreement under
which GCC, certain schools, academies, NHS bodies, and district and
borough councils in Gloucestershire may award call-off contracts
for the supply of statutory servicing, reactive and remedial
works where the annual value of any call-off contract for such
works shall not exceed £250,000;

(b) A framework agreement under
which GCC, certain schools, academies, NHS bodies, and district and
borough councils in Gloucestershire may award call-off contracts
for the supply of minor responsive and reactive works where
the annual value of any call-off contract for such works shall not
exceed £325,000;
 
(c) A framework agreement under
which GCC, certain schools, academies, NHS bodies, and district and
borough councils in Gloucestershire may award call-off contracts
for the supply of medium size capital maintenance and
project works where the annual value of any call-off contract
for such works shall be between £15,000 and
£150,000.
 
 

2.             
Appoint each of the preferred tenderers to the
appropriate Lot under the above Framework Agreements.
 

3.             
Procure and award as many call-off contracts under
the above Framework Agreements as may be required by GCC for the
supply of statutory servicing works; minor responsive and reactive
works; and medium size project work.
