Pursuant to an Authorisation from: GEN1 – To enter into any contract for works and the supply of goods and services.
To record and confirm retrospectively a decision that was taken by the Director of Public Health on 31st March 2025 to:
Remove the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) services via Community Pharmacies that are currently provided under Gloucestershire County Council’s (GCC’s) Public Health Enhanced Service (PHES) Contract with various pharmacy providers with effect from 28th October 2025; and
Transfer the provision of the above services from suppliers under the above contract to suppliers under the National Pharmacy Contract with NHSE with effect from 29th October 2025 as part of the Pharmacy Contraception Service (PCS) provided thereunder.
