Purpose
To direct award a call-off contract for the provision of System Maintenance and Support Services in respect of the Vision 5 system and the Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) system.
These two systems are used by Gloucestershire Fire and Resue Service’s (GFRS’s) Fire Control Room.
Decision
Cllr Paul Hodgkinson sought to direct award a call-off contract for the provision of System Maintenance and Support Services in respect of the Vision 5 system and the Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS) system.
Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and RESOLVED to:
Approve the direct award of a call-off contract under Lot 5 of the Crown Commercial Service, Vertical Applications Solutions Framework, RM6259, to NEC Software Solutions UK Limited (NEC) under which it shall supply system maintenance and support services in respect of the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) Fire Control Room’s Vision 5 and Integrated Communications Control System (ICCS). The proposed call-off contract shall continue for a period of 5 years.
