Purpose

To approve SEDF funding awards for bids/projects submitted for consideration by the City Region Board

Decision

Resolved that the Board:

•       agreed in principle to ring-fence up to £450,000 of Strategic Economic Development Fund (SEDF) funding towards an investment proposal, subject to completion of due diligence, subsidy control assessment, verification of funding requirements and consideration of all relevant legal, financial and governance matters;

·              authorised the issue of a formal response to the relevant parties reflecting the Board's position;

·              agreed that a further report be brought back to the Board for final determination once the required assessments and due diligence have been completed.
