The Director of Education awarded Childcare Reforms Local Authority Capital funding and Wraparound Childcare Delivery grant to successful applicants on 30 April 2026. The decision was to award these grants to expand existing and develop new early years and out-of-school provision.

Patsy To, Head of Libraries & Registration, awarded a Call-Off Contract for the supply and installation of furniture and bespoke modular items at Gloucester Library to Wagstaff Group Ltd on 11 June 2025. The contract is under the Crown Commercial Service's Furniture and Associated Services framework agreement.

Ann James, Executive Director of Children's Services, entered into a funding agreement with Greenshaw Learning Trust on 15 August 2025. This agreement provides £2.682 million towards a project to create 150 additional classroom places at Henley Bank High School.

Ann James, Executive Director of Children's Services, awarded funding for the Holiday Activity and Food programme for Spring, Summer, and Winter 2026 on 7 April 2026. This funding was allocated to HAF Community Connector providers and specialist SEND providers following a Request for Quotation process.
