Cabinet Member - Children’s Safeguarding and Care decided to approve the allocation of £3,692,482 of Household Support Fund grant on 30/05/2024. This funding will be distributed to council staff, six District Councils, the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, the Gloucestershire Food Network, the Eat Well Wagon, Severn Wye Energy Agency, food banks, and for the supply of food vouchers, fuel vouchers, white goods, and household emergency support. The decision also delegates authority to the Executive Director of Children's Services to award a call-off contract to Auriga Services Limited for specific voucher and support provisions and to determine funding proportions for District Councils.
