Pursuant to an Authorisation from: Cabinet on 18/03/2026 - Approval to Establish a Procurement Route for Community Equipment
Decision
Following the conclusion of direct award process under the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Framework Agreement for Acute and Community Health and Social Care Equipment Products and Services (Framework Agreement Reference: SBS10015) in respect of call-off contracts for the supply of community equipment to support the Council’s in-house Community Equipment Service (Gloucestershire Equipment Loan Service (GELS)), and having consulted with the Cabinet Member for Adults' Support & Independence, in accordance with a Cabinet decision dated 18 March 2026:
DECISION
To award each such call-off contract to the relevant supplier listed in the table below. Each call-off contract will continue for a period of three years commencing on 1st November 2026 and include an option to extend its term for a further period of not more than one year (3+1 years).
