The Audit Panel supports good governance at the Greater London Authority (GLA) by overseeing financial systems, promoting an anti-fraud culture, and ensuring probity and good practice. It liaises with external auditors and the Mayor regarding the annual internal audit programme. The panel reviews matters arising from audit reports, the GLA's Corporate Risk Register, and Risk Management Policy.
