To agree to dispose of the land at Langton Way to Anchor Hanover to develop an Affordable Extra Care scheme
Decision
Agreed in principle to dispose of land and buildings at Langton Way (shown edged red on the plan attached at Appendix A) to Anchor Hanover Group, substantially on the terms contained in the draft Heads of Terms at Exempt Appendix C of the report, to enable the construction of an affordable extra care housing facility and to enter into appropriate legal agreements with Anchor Hanover Group to effect the disposal;
Agreed to dispose of the land and buildings to Anchor Hanover Group based on the agreed valuation contained in the draft Heads of Terms, supported by the Valuation Advice (Exempt Appendix B and C of the report), which reflects the facility being made available to residents at 100% affordable rent. The capital receipt will be credited to the Housing Revenue Account where the site is currently held; and
Delegated to the Director of Place and Growth the authority to negotiate the disposal details in accordance with the draft Heads of Terms and to enter all required legal agreements to affect the disposal substantially on the terms contained in the Heads of Tems at Exempt Appendix C of the report.
Agreed to treat the information contained in the Exempt Appendices B and C to the report as exempt information in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) (information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person, including the authority holding that information). To agree that this exempt information contained in the Exempt Appendices B and C shall not be released to the press or public
