Purpose
To consider the outcome of the informal consultation to implement pocket parks and other public realm works for the Silvertown Tunnel area

- Noted the outcome of engagement and consultation undertaken to inform the development of the SiTEA proposals.
- Approved the preliminary designs for the Silvertown Tunnel Enhancement Area (SiTEA) works, as set out in Appendix A of the report, to enable progression to detailed design and delivery.
- Noted that progression through the detailed design phase will require Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) and/or other statutory approvals to implement specific elements of the scheme. These will be subject to separate decision reports and statutory consultation, where required.
- Noted that construction delivery will be undertaken in line with the Council’s highways and project delivery arrangements, subject to detailed design completion, statutory consultation advertisement/making approved by Director of Communities, Environment and Central and funding confirmation.
