The Cabinet decided on 24 June 2026 to recommend to Full Council that the proposed submission documents for public consultation for the Draft Local Plan be approved. The Cabinet also noted that the final decision would be made at Full Council on 22 July 2026.

The General Purposes Committee decided on 27 May 2026 to note the ongoing review of Chief Officer pay and agreed to the salary ranges for specific Chief Officer posts. These posts include the Chief Executive, Senior Assistant Director - Health and Adult Services, Assistant Director (Planning and Building Control) Chief Planning Officer, and Assistant Director of Public Health / Consultant in Public Health.
