About

The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission is part of Hackney Council's Overview & Scrutiny function, holding the council and its partners accountable for decisions made about local services. It focuses on health services for adults, adult social care, and public health.

This commission provides a 'critical friend challenge' to contribute to service development and improvement, engaging local residents and interested parties. Three of its members also participate in the Inner North East London Joint Health Overview & Scrutiny Committee.
