Purpose
This report seeks approval from the Cabinet
Member of Public Realm to accept the grant of £1,780,000 from
Transport for London and to create associated income, capital and
revenue budgets. All projects identified in the report align with
the Mayor's Transport Strategy and work towards progressing
Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s local air quality, public
health, and transport priorities.
Decision
1.
To approve acceptance of the TfL funding and commencement of the
proposed programme of works the funding is intended for.
2.
To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Place to modify
the programme, associated projects and funding allocation, within
the parameters of the Mayors Transport Strategy, LIP, local policy
priorities and TfL LIP funding conditions.
3.
To call off the Council’s existing Highways term contract
and/or appropriate Frameworks to undertake the proposed works as
required (within the funding available).
4.
To approve acceptance of the MAQF4 funding from the Cross River
Partnership for the work delivered through the Health Streets
Everyday II programme, and MAQF4 funding from TfL for work
delivered through the Tackling Dirty Air at H&F primary schools
project.
