Purpose

The London Environment Strategy Proposal
7.2.1.b sets out the Mayor's expectation for local authorities to
develop Reduction and Recycling Plans (RRPs), which should include
local reduction and recycling targets that contribute to the
Mayor's London wide targets.
The 2023-2025 Plan is the second such plan council’s have
been asked to submit to the Greater London Authority (GLA)
following the plans submitted for 2018 - 2022

Decision

That the Cabinet Member notes
the contents of the 2023 - 2025 RRP, attached as Appendix 1, and
approves submission of it to the GLA.
