Purpose

Contract Award Decision for the roll out of
residential cycle hangars.
 
Reasons for
urgency.
An existing Framework exists that allows the
Council to procure cycle hangars, however this is ending on the
1st January 2024, therefore there are
challenging timelines to work towards in order to follow the
necessary steps to access this framework.
 

Decision

To approve the recommended
procurement strategy, to run a mini competition on the Waltham
Forest Framework for the provision of up to 500 new cycle hangars
over a 3-year period from 2024 to 2027, for the total contract
value of £3m.
