The Deputy Leader (responsible for Health and Social Care and Children and Education) decided on 24/08/2026 to approve the contract variation of three mental health supported accommodation contracts to extend their term until 31st January 2027. This decision ensures continuity of provision while a redesign is co-produced and finalised.

The Director of Finance and the Director, Planning and Property (Interim) decided on 17/06/2026 to approve the water procurement strategy and delegate authority to award a contract to LASER's preferred supplier. This strategy will cover non-residential and corporate properties from 2027 to 2032.

The Leader of the Council decided on 19/06/2026 to approve in principle the termination of the contract with Ardmore Construction Group Limited due to their insolvency. This decision allows the Council to appoint an interim Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to complete the Civic Campus works.
