The Cabinet of Hammersmith and Fulham Council approved the Adult Social Care Independent Living Strategy 2026 – 2031 on 06/07/2026. This strategy sets out the vision, priorities, and approach for transforming Adult Social Care to enable adults with care and support needs to live with greater choice, control, dignity, and independence. The strategy will be implemented through a Partnership Board and working groups.

Councillor Alex Sanderson, Deputy Leader, approved the contract variation of older people's day centre contracts to extend their term from 1 September 2026 to 31 January 2027 on 01/06/2026. This extension ensures continuity of provision while the redesign of community and accommodation-based services is co-produced and finalised. The approved contract variation will extend the delivery of day centre provision at three commissioned day centres until 31 January 2027.
