The Deputy Leader (responsible for Health and Social Care and Children and Education) approved the extension of a supported living contract for residents with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027 on 08/06/2026. This decision ensures continuity of provision while a full redesign is completed.

Richard Shwe, Executive Director of Housing and Neighbourhoods, in consultation with Councillor Frances Umeh, Cabinet Member for Housing and Homelessness, approved a procurement strategy and contract award for roofing and associated works on 15 April 2026. This award is to a preferred supplier for 16 months to provide additional capacity for responsive repairs. The contract will stipulate high standards of resident communication and include provisions for controlling works and variations.
