Purpose

This report seeks approval for the direct award of a contract via the Matrix SCM Limited neutral vendor framework for multidisciplinary design consultancy services supporting the South Fulham Area Enhancement and Wandsworth Bridge Road Transformation Programme. The commission will advance feasibility, concept design, modelling, stakeholder engagement, and the development of an integrated design package for future consultation and implementation, including accelerated proposals for pedestrian crossings, side-street enhancement , and kerb build-outs to improve safety, accessibility, and the public realm.

Decision

1. Appendices, 1, 2, and 3 are not for publication on the basis that they contain information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
2. To approve a procurement strategy in line with the recommended Procurement Route included in this report
3. To award a contract for multidisciplinary design consultancy services supporting the SFE and Wandsworth Bridge Road Transformation Programme to the Preferred Supplier with the Contract Award Value as detailed in Exempt Appendix 1.
