For the Head of Programme Management –
Regeneration and Economic Development to waive Contract Standing
Orders and to enter into a contract with Community Music Ltd to
cover work delivered from 1st June 2022 to 31st March 2023 for the
provision of Create 20X20 Music and Media programme to the value of
£23,680 in accordance with Contract Standing Order (CSO)
10.01.2

Reasons for the decision

A contract was created by Home for Haringey
for Community Music Ltd to provide Music and Media Training as part
of the Create 20X20 Programme from the 1st January 2020 to the 31st
March 2023. Due to the transfer of the service as part of
insourcing Homes for Haringey to Haringey Council, there is a need
to enter into a new contract to continue the service delivery
already agreed. The incumbent is continuing to deliver the service
in line with the performance specification, and the continuation is
essential in meeting the outcomes specified in the funding bid for
Youth Music.

Alternative options considered

Do nothing: The service would be unable to
continue the existing commitment made and the service will cease.
As this is funded by Youth Music the grant is also likely to be
removed.
