Having considered the proposals, the responses
to the statutory consultation and officer comments,
• approved to proceed with Implementation of 24 new cycle
storage (cycle hangar) facilities at the proposed locations
detailed in Table 1 of section 6.
• approved not to proceed with the installations of Bike
hangars at the proposed location for Farrer Road N8, 50 Oakfield
Road N4,106 The Avenue, 210 Middle Lane, 159 Mount View Road N4 and
52 Winchelsea Road for the reasons set out in section 4.6 of this
report.
• approve the total estimated implementation cost of
£108,072.00 which includes consultation, inventory survey,
design, traffic management orders, supply, and installation of the
cycle hangars. This is from the £487k approved budget for the
implementation of the Cycle Parking Programme for year
2024/2025
