It is recommended that:

The Head of Housing Development approves awarding a contract Silver
DCC for in accordance with CSO 11.01 and 11.02, for the amount of
£4,500 + VAT. This contract pertains to providing a
Construction Environmental Management Plan for the delivery of
affordable homes at the Kings Road N17 Car Park development. This
CEMP will support the submission of the planning application.

This appointment and reports, survey and assessments will support
the submission of the planning application.

Reasons for the decision

The Kings Road (N17) Car Park site has been
designated by Haringey Council for the direct delivery of new
Council homes. The project requires a multi-disciplinary
consultancy to manage the site from RIBA Stage 1 to 3.

Alternative options considered

The Council could opt not to appoint this
consultant; however, this decision would adversely affect and
hinder the delivery of new council homes. Conducting this survey is
a mandatory requirement.
