Full council record
Content
To approve recommendations as set out in
Section 3 of this report.
Reasons for the decision
The council needs to take a formal decision to
remove six out of the eleven speed tables (road humps) introduced
in June 2024 along Ferme Park Road, following complaints received
from residents about noise, vibrations and structural damage to
properties.
The council is proposing to replace the speed tables with
alternative traffic calming features, to ensure road safety is
maintained along the road.
Alternative options considered
Do nothing. This option was not progressed as
safety at this location would not be addressed.
