Appeals Committee

The Appeals Committee considers appeals from senior officers (Head of Paid Service, Chief Finance Officer, and Monitoring Officer) regarding disciplinary actions taken against them that do not involve dismissal. The committee, made up of five members who are not part of the Chief Officers’ Employment Panel, has the power to uphold the original decision, or to reduce or remove the disciplinary action.
