Purpose

In regard
to the future exit from the 5Cs Corporate Services contract with
Capita, Havant Borough Council have engaged a new managed services
provider for ICT. This coincides with an upgrade to the version of
Windows used, amongst other changes. As a result, several staff
will require new laptops.
 

Decision

To
purchase 130 laptops, in accordance with the relevant provision
within the capital programme, agreed by Full Council on 26 February
2025.
 
This
purchase is being delivered via award of the contract to BRIGHT
LINKS (UK) LIMITED procured via ESPO/CCS Framework RM6098 -
Technology Products & Associated Services 2 (TePAS
2).
