Purpose

The
Council has been in its current IAA agreement with EHDC for several
years. The cost to the Council is increasing year on year. Exiting
the current partnership provides for the Council to align its
expenditure and safeguard the service for the future.
 

Decision

A decision
has made to exit the Inter-Authority Agreement (IAA) with East
Hampshire District Council (EHDC) for the provision of Building
Control Services. This decision is to ensure the resilience and
financial stability of the Service in the longer term.
