Purpose

The tree
in question is a lapsed pollard in what appears to be good health
and offering uninterrupted views and contributing well to the
street scene scoring 21 on a TEMPO exercise.
 
The tree
is located within a conservation area and subject to a S211
Notification submitted by a resident to cut back to the boundary
– these works would be excessive and destroy the amenity
value currently offered by the tree.

The
confirmation of Tree Preservation Order 2146 at Public footpath on
western boundary of 3 Spring Gardens, Emsworth, PO10 7AU
