Purpose

Havant
Borough Council has used Acorn household data from CACI since 2022,
with API integration added in 2024. This data has informed several
strategic reports, including the Residents ‘Survey, and
exploratory work is underway to integrate Acorn data with Customer
Services datasets.
 
Acorn
household data from CACI is particularly valuable because it
segments UK households into demographic profiles based on income,
lifestyle, and consumer behaviour This enables the Council to
better understand and engage with its residents, tailor services to
specific community needs, and make informed decisions across areas
such as housing, public services, policy development, and
communications.
