1.      
To support the
proposal to establish four mainland unitary authorities and one
island unitary authority as set out in Option 1 conditional upon
the submission of a formal request to Government as part of the
Council’s submission to undertake a boundary change
modification to permit Option 1A as outlined in the proposal
documents.

 

2.      
To delegate authority
to the Chief Executive in liaison with the Leader of the Council to
make any final amendments to the full proposal in advance of
submission to the government.
