Purpose

This
decision enables the Council to assess the financial implication on
properties that are potentially impacted by construction of the
Langstone Coastal Scheme. Where an impact is assessed, an estimate
of the potential entitlement to compensation can then also be made
and weighed against potential benefits, to form the basis of a
negotiation with landowners.

to enter a call off agreement with Dalcour Maclaren Ltd from the
ESPO Framework for Land Agent services. The outcome of this
commercial instruction will be a Property Cost Estimate for
properties potentially impacted by the creation of the Langstone
Coastal Scheme. This will help the council manage risk.
