RESOLVED that Cabinet
 

A.     
Approve the formal
separation of the Havant Leisure Centre lease renegotiation project
from the Waterlooville Leisure Centre refurbishment
programme.
 

B.     
Delegate authority to
the Strategic Director for Neighbourhoods, in consultation with the
Cabinet Lead for Regeneration, to finalise all necessary legal and
commercial documentation to affect this decoupling.
 

C.     
Instruct officers to
manage each project independently, report material progress and
decisions for each centre through separate, dedicated reports to
future Cabinet meetings as required by the Council's
decision-making framework.
 

D.     
Delegate authority to
the Strategic Director for Neighbourhoods in consultation with the
Cabinet Lead for Regeneration to release capital/Section 106
funding when appropriate that has been set aside for the
Waterlooville Leisure Centre project and as agreed by the project
steering group.
